Star Hunter DX is an action-packed game developed by 1CC Games for Xbox One. The game follows the story of Luna Starr, a former space pirate captain turned bounty hunter, who was betrayed by her crew. As Luna, players will travel to five exotic planets to track down their mutinous crewmates and engage them in bullet hell dogfights to the death.
The game's unique feature is the "Bullet Time" gauge, which allows players to slow down enemies and their projectiles while they can still fly and shoot at normal speed. Destroying enemies or catching their attacks in a bomb blast will power up the Bullet Time gauge. During Bullet Time, the bullets from any enemies players destroy will be converted into gold cubes to collect for a massive score boost.
Star Hunter DX is old school hard but offers an extensive practice mode to help beginners survive and allow pros to perfect their runs.
